Benefiting the Westchester Parks Foundation, the 3rd Annual Mutts on the Mountain 5K and Lazy Dog Fun Run is the only timed trail race in the Tri-State area that allows you to run with your canine companion. This is a not-to-be-missed event for hikers, joggers, runners, and of course your well-behaved four legged friend.
Volunteer Needs
In order for this event to be successful, we need a large crew of volunteers. We need several volunteers to help with registration and check in for race participants, several volunteers to help assist with our marketplace and dog-centered festival, we need a several volunteers to help reinforce the windy but well-marked 5K course at key trail junctions, we need another severalvolunteers to help staff our aid station and canine cool-off station, and several others to help setup the Lazy Dog Fun Run course, and staff that mile long race.
